Reading Response #2 and Personal Writing Cont.

Agenda for today:

1. Opening Moment: Niko

2. Book Response #2 in Reading Groups
After book discussions, create a list of questions you would like to ask the authors of the books you are reading. Each group should come up with 2-3 questions for each author. Questions should be focused on the book's subject matter, the author's writing of the book, research done, etc.

3. Brainstorm interview questions for personality profile: Interview questions and answers are due next class.

4. If you haven't completed your first personal writing piece (My Favorite Mistake) you need to do so for next class.

HW: Interviews completed and first draft of "My Favorite Mistake"

  3. Sydney and I read "Nickel and Dimed" by Barbara Ehrenreich. The questions we have are: Why is Barabara so stereotypical towards towards Maine? And Why are you aiming for a minimum wage job when you can aim higher?
